Who is The Arc Quinebaug Valley?
The Arc Quinebaug Valley is a chapter of The Arc of the United States, the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc works to provide people with intellectual, developmental and other life-affecting disabilities with services and opportunities to reach their greatest level of personal fulfillment and potential.

Membership gives The Arc Quinebaug Valley and our state and national organizations the voice they need to influence decisions made by legislators and policymakers, thus allowing us to effectively advocate on behalf of the children and adults whom we support. As a member, you can play an important role in the advocacy and decision making process!
Membership provides important networking opportunities for family members, professionals, advocates, and others interested in the welfare of those who have intellectual, developmental, and other life-affecting disabilities. Membership means a better informed public. Awareness is an outgrowth of membership, and awareness is the first step in creating society-wide acceptance and inclusion of children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Members receive on-going information and important updates relating to the field of developmental disabilities.
How much does it cost to be a member?
